Have you closed or are you considering closing your licensed child care centre?
If you have recently closed your licensed child care centre or are considering doing so within the next 12 months, we'd like to hear your story. ADCO is committed to open and honest communication with all levels of government, the media and the public about a range of issues that impact upon the owner/operators of licensed child care programs. Whether or not you are or were an ADCO member, your experiences are worth noting. By undertanding your decision to close your centre, we're better able to support all independent licensed child care programs and enhance the viability of our industry in Ontario.

Please note, your information will be held in the strictest of confidence, on a secure server. We will never identify you personally or your centre to any outside party or agency. Any data you share will become part of aggrated statistics/case studies ADCO maintains regarding centre closures during the introduction of the Provincial ELP.

It can't have been an easy conclusion for you or your staff team to reach. ADCO supports licensed child care owner/operators at all stages of the business life cycle, so please let us know if there's anything we can do to help. In the meantime we'd like to learn more about your program and the circumstances you and your staff team faced that led to your decision. We are gathering this information to provide Provincial officials, the media and the public with a realistic view of the impacts of the Provincial Early Learning Program.
