COMPELLING SPEAKERS, PRESENTATIONS AND WORKSHOPS NEEDED FOR ADCO EVENTS

If you've ever thought of being a presenter at an ADCO event, we'd like to hear from you. ADCO's membership consists of owners/operators of licensed child care programs in the commercial and non-profit sectors, their supervisors and staff teams, individual ECEs, child care board members and suppliers to the child care industry. ADCO conferences and events are designed to enhance ADCO members' capacity to deliver quality services for children; optimize their day-to-day operations; enhance their financial performance and grow their centres.  ADCO's events provide a continuum of practical, affordable professional development opportunities for these groups, with an emphasis on meeting the needs of owners, managers and supervisors.

ADCO holds one conference each year, on the first Friday of November. Occasionally, the association offers other smaller regional events or "webinars,” which are planned a minimum of 12 months in advance. A conference committee member may have been in touch with you and invited you to formally submit your proposal for a workshop. Even if you have not been approached in this way, you are welcome to submit a workshop proposal using the online form.

Please be advised that presentations may not emphasize any particular brand of product or service, or promote any specific company, individual or organization. ADCO is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization with limited resources. Special consideration is given to speakers who volunteer their time, or who make major efforts to minimize their costs.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORKSHOP PROPOSAL

1) All proposals must be submitted using the online form. Emailed, faxed or paper copies of proposals will not be considered, nor will incomplete electronic forms.

2) Forms must be submitted a minimum of 12 months prior to the event at which you wish to be a presenter (24 months lead time is preferred.)
